Battle of Medway!
Jun. 8th, 2017 06:47 pmThis weekend I will be missing the celebrations of the 350th anniversary of the Battle of Medway.
You probably haven't heard of it because the Dutch kicked our arses and it gone down as one of the worst defeats in the Royal Navy's history and one of the worst suffered by the British military.
But the people of Medway are marking the occasion because at least it's not fucking Dickens again!
